Our Program

IMG_9123Twinkle Stars 0-7 months

Our Twinkle Star program is a lovely gentle introduction for your baby to the pool. Water is a natural environment to a young baby who have spent 9 months immersed in it. As well as being a wonderful bonding opportunity for parents and babies you will witness your beautiful bundle of joy swimming through the water, kicking using their arms and legs to propel themselves through the water back to mum or dad, way before they have taken independent movements on land. How amazing! They are able to do this thanks to some amazing reflexes they are born with and our teachers have the best knowledge of how to work with these. As well as teaching babies to swim, we teach them lifesaving skills such as holding on and turning in the water to be able to make their way back to the side of a pool. An amazing skill that would be invaluable if they ever fell into water. Our classes are a jam packed fun filled 30-minute session, the lessons are progressive and teach early independent swimming without the use of armbands/disks, lifesaving skills and nurture a love and respect for the water.

Shooting Stars 8-15 monthsIMG_9115

Our Shooting Stars are now ready for lots of fun and a high paced class with lots of games and song making it really enjoyable for both parent and baby. We work on jumping from the wall, turning independently from the wall ready to initiate their own swims, building independence swimming on woggles, we now are seeing small independent swims underwater of around 4 seconds! Lifesaving skills feature heavily including a safe entry, returning to a point of safety after entering or falling into water, and of course swimming. Babies are now getting their own personality and this something we work with. We tailor each interaction and activity to what is right for your baby! Our classes are a jam packed fun filled 30-minute session, the lessons are progressive and teach early independent swimming without the use of armbands/disks, lifesaving skills and nurture a love and respect for the water.
